In 2010 Irene Joined Grace Church after going to a group for women, from the day she found comfort in God her life changed for the better she began to gain self confidence, grow as a person immensely and found new friends and social opportunities through church. She began getting involved in various charities such as Foodbank, Headway, CAP,CAB,BDCP and the NET.
